Campaign offices continue to sprout around the state ahead of the November election.

President Barack Obama’s re-election effort is slated to open four more offices this week, bringing its number of Virginia offices to 24.

It plans to open posts on Wednesday in Harrisonburg, Culpeper, Albemarle County and Williamsburg.

Republicans have also set up offices across Virginia and have a total of 22 through their
“Victory 2012” campaign — a joint effort of presumptive GOP presidential nominee Mitt Romney’s camp, the Republican National Committee and the Republican Party of Virginia.
