President Barack Obama will visit Henrico County on Saturday.

The president will hold a “small, grassroots event” at Walkerton Tavern and Gardens on Mountain Road in Glen Allen, according to campaign officials.

Walkerton Tavern is a historic home built in the early 1800s that has served as a tavern, store, post office, voting precinct, and possibly a field hospital for wounded Union cavalrymen during the Civil War, according to the Henrico County website. 

Tickets will be required for admission to the event. Additional details on when and where to get tickets will be available later today.

On Friday, Obama will visit Roanoke’s Fire Station No. 1 on Church Avenue in and Green Run High School on Dahlia Drive in Virginia Beach, according to the campaign.
