Republican presidential nominee Mitt Romney is up with a Virginia-specific TV ad in the swing state, promising to create thousands of new jobs for Virginians during his first months in office.
The 30-second ad opens with a photo of downtown Richmond and the narrator asking: “President Romney’s first 100 days — what will they mean for Virginia?”
It continues: “Day one, President Romney moves to repeal Obamacare and attacks the deficit, starting with $20 billion in savings. By Day 100, President Romney reverses Obama’s offshore drilling ban, creating thousands of new jobs for Virginians.”
The narrator concludes: “President Romney’s first 100 days: for the people of Virginia, they mean new life, new energy for our state.”
State-specific ads are also airing in three other battleground states: North Carolina, Iowa and Ohio.
