Democratic U.S. Senate nominee Timothy M. Kaine was reportedly in San Francisco today doing some fundraising alongside President Barack Obama.
The San Francisco Chronicle reported that Obama was coming to town for four hours and expected to return with more than $2 million in tow.
Kaine, the former Democratic National Committee chairman, was also expected to attend a sold-out luncheon, the report said, along with California Gov. Jerry Brown and baseball legend Willie Mays.
Representatives from the Kaine campaign could not immediately be reached for comment.
Republican U.S. Senate front-runner George Allen has also raised funds in California.
