Just ahead of presumptive Republican presidential nominee Mitt Romney’s visit to Virginia tomorrow, President Barack Obama’s re-election campaign launched a scathing attack ad here and in two other battleground states, Ohio and Iowa.

The ad, titles “Swiss Bank Account,” repudiates attacks on Obama from the oil industry and accuses Romney of shipping jobs overseas as a CEO and Massachusetts governor.

“It’s just what you’d expect from a guy who had a Swiss bank account,” the ad says.

Virginia Romney campaign spokeswoman Amanda Henneberg shot back.

“With the worst job creation record in modern history and the slowest economic recovery since the Great Depression, President Obama is trying to distract Americans from the real issues with a series of sideshows,” she said.
