Republican presidential hopeful Mitt Romney has picked up the support of former U.S. Rep. Tom Davis, who served in Congress 1995 to 2008.
“Mitt Romney is a leader who has proved numerous times that he can be counted on to turn troubled organizations around, whether it was in business, the Winter Olympics, or as governor of Massachusetts,” Davis said in a news release.
“That is why I urge all those who want to fight for the America we love to join me in standing with Mitt.”
Before being elected to Congress, Davis served as chairman of the Fairfax County Board of Supervisors. He’s now president and CEO of the Republican Main Street Partnership.
