As the U.S. Chamber of Commerce was pounding him on Virginia’s airwaves, the Loudoun Chamber of Commerce was yesterday welcoming Democratic U.S. Senate candidate Timothy M. Kaine.

Kaine spoke to dozens of businesspeople at a Loudoun Chamber-sponsored event Wednesday, the same day PolitiFact rated a U.S. Chamber ad attacking Kaine as “False.”

The television ad, running regularly in Richmond — along with another in support of Kaine’s Republican rival, George Allen – claimed that the health care reform law that Kaine supported as Democratic National Committee chairman “will kill jobs across America.”

PolitiFact ruled that there was little to no evidence that the health care law would result “in a significant net number of job losses.”
